The College of Metaphysical Studies will hold a Reiki I & II Certification Seminar in traditional Usui system of Reiki by Reiki Master Gary Sipel, MA, LMT.
Reiki works on the body, mind, emotional & spiritual levels; releases blocked energy; promotes relaxation; & reduces stress. Reiki Energy has an innate intelligence & goes wherever needed in the body to cleanse the body of toxins. Reiki also works on plants, animals & inanimate objects. Reiki also enhances intuition, meditation & spiritual evolution.
The Reiki attunement gives an even higher possible level of energy vibrations in the student. Here one also learns 3 Reiki symbols: The Power Symbol, The Mental Symbol and The Distance Symbol. These can be used to help focus energy for specific purposes.
Reiki 1 & 2 opens additional energy centers and connects you to a greater volume of Reiki Energy. During the seminar, you are given three sacred symbols, each having a specific function. These symbols can then be used as a focus to enable you to strengthen mental and emotional healing and to send absentee healing. A large part of the training received in Second Degree is centered on the understanding and use of these symbols.
In Reiki 1 & 2 training you receive attunements. At this stage of the training, the energy attunement is greatly amplified and its focus is on the etheric body rather than the physical. As a result of these attunements, you may develop both a greater sensitivity to energy and a psychic awareness.
You can learn to give Reiki treatments to yourself, family and friends, animals, plants etc. and some use Reiki on appliances. The Reiki energy treats and energizes you even while you are treating others. The use of Reiki as a relaxation and stress reducing technique is becoming accepted and widespread; and it enhances other bodywork and healing practices.
